Help with Real Heroes Breakfast; numerous tasks year-round. Recruit table captains, verify Heroes nominations, use Excel to help plan event, stuff envelopes, work with other committee members.

Help present "Saving Lives & More: Learn about your local Red Cross and be inspired." Monthly lunches during which donors and community members learn about the Red Cross.

Disaster Action Team Members (DAT) - (training provided)
Help clients recover from local disasters of all types and sizes. This position will be on the front line of service delivery, working
directly with clients and volunteers. This is a volunteer position that requires flexible on-call availability of specified shifts (i.e.
evenings one week a month or days one week a month). Come in & check it out - DAT meets every second Tuesday evening at the
Chapter!
Disaster Services Administrative Assistance (volunteer)
2 days a week for 4 hours a day during regular business hours
Assist Joyce Adams with clerical/computer work. Tasks may include assembling class materials, updating the DS trainin
database, and making phone calls to clients to assess the quality of our service delivery.
Service to the Armed Forces (training provided) (volunteer)
6- 8 hours per week during regular business hours

Take calls referred during a specified shift (typically one day a week)

Maintain confidentiality of caller and service member

Conduct an interview to obtain relevant information needed to process the request.

Verify information received from the families.

Complete necessary documentation.

Route the message to the appropriate Red Cross authorities.
Health and Safety Department
First Aid CPR 3-6 hours per week during regular business hours
Volunteer needed to help clean CPR manikins on Mondays (9 a.m. -12 noon) and another volunteer to set up for weekend classes
on Fridays (2-4 p.m.).

CPR Saturday Volunteers: March 12, 2011, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sebastopol
CPR Saturday is a free event that trains members of the community in CPR. Training for approximately 500 men, women and children in both Spanish and English. Time commitment will vary. You may volunteer for part or all of the day, or assist with planning and presenting the event for one to three months ahead of time.
